He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Hruska and Georgine Hruska (Ptak); and his sister Eileen Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Catherine E. Putzier of Sturgis, SD; his children, Jacalyn Harte (Joseph) of Hugo, MN, Terese Hruska of Edgemont, SD, Joseph G. Hruska (Susan) of Woodland Park, CO, Peggy Hruska of Brewster, KS, Jeanette Ehlers (Joseph) of Epworth, IA and Regina Hruska of Sturgis, SD.; his grandchildren, Joseph K. L. Harte, David Hruska (Shannon), Mark Hruska (Kami), Kaylyn Hruska (Nathan Hargrave), Matthew Hruska (Carrie), Daniel Brown (Cassandra), Nathan Brown and Sean Ohlrogge; and his great grandchildren, Louis, Dorothea, Eleanora Brown and Charlotte Hruska. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
