Lucille (Hayes) Bennett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2020, at the age of 98, Lucille (Hayes) Bennett (Sturgis, South Dakota), born in Wasta, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet Hayes and Matilda Hayes (Lassegard); her husband Wilbert Bennett; her brothers, Lester and Gordon Hayes; her granddaughter Amy Lou Reid; and her grandson-in-law Jeremy Sechser.
She is survived by: her brother DeWayne Hayes (Diana) of Sturgis; her children, John Bennett (Helen) of Bismarck, ND, Jerry Bennett of Sturgis, Mildred Reid (Charles) of Nisland and Eilene Asheim (Tom) of Sturgis; and her siblings-in-law, Sam Bennett, Fern, Lucille, Zeta Bennett and Donna Sexton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Sturgis Regional Senior Care.
