We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2018, at the age of 78, Lenore Helene Levy (Sturgis, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Levy; her children, Teresa Hansen, Ruth McKinstry (Jay) and James Levy (Kim); her siblings, Michael Malenosky (Valerie) and Emilie Woolington (Ken); her grandchildren, Angela Rose (Todd), Amanda Hansen, Darcy Hansen, Cassandra Hansen, Betty Hansen, Alex Levy, Joshua Harkness, Wezley McKinstry, Jozie McKinstry, Kyle Levy (Lindsey) and Ian Levy; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Blake, Dayten, James, Jacob, Cayden and Lucy; her parents, Alex Malenosky and Anna Malenosky; her brother Alex Malenosky, Jr.; and her grandson Daniel Levy.

We wish to fill the room with love and memories as we celebrate her life. "It isn't the dates on either end that counts, but how they used their dash. For that dash between dates represents all the time they spent alive on this earth. And now only those who loved them know how precious that little line is worth." In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the VFW Auxiliary.

“Just found this page in my quest for info on the TASTEE INN & OUT drive-through restaurants in Sioux City. Lonnie was married to one of my 2 best friends from my high school days in Sioux City, one James Paul Levy Jr. who graduated from Heelan High in Sioux City in 1955. Lonnie was a dear, sweet soul. She graduated from East High School in Sioux City. I visited her and Jim several times in their home in Sturgis where they moved after Jim found his SD birth family when he was into his adulthood.”
