He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Vissia and Gertrude Vissia (Judstra); his brother Richard Vissia; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Vissia and Clarice Vissia.
He is survived by: his brothers, Albert Vissia (Johna), Andrew Vissia and George Vissia (Anna); and his nieces and nephews, Pam, Doug (Leah), Jim Vissia, Sharon Nowotny (Eric), Rhonda Marks (Jack) of Fisherville, KY, Steve Vissia (Lorie) of Post Falls, ID, Tracy Vissia of Jackonsville, FL, Wade Vissia (Angie) of Belle Fourche, SD, Todd Vissia (Cindy) of Whitewood, SD and Sue Hartman (Bill) of Derby, KS. He is also survived by 23 great nieces & nephews, and 36 great-great nieces & nephews.
