It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Darwin McElwain of Sturgis, South Dakota, born in Sisseton, South Dakota, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parent Lee (Jeanette McElwain); his wife Theresa of Sturgis; his mother Jeanette of Sturgis; his sons, John (Shannon) of Sturgis, Jason (Christina) of Billings, MT and Christopher Orr of Spearfish; his sibling Ashley of Texas; his father Lee; his siblings, Darrell and Lorna; his son Travis; and his granddaughter Phibie. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
