It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Suzanne Niederwerder of Sturgis, South Dakota, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Arlene Svor (Elwood) and Betty Christians (George). She is survived by: her husband Seth Niederwerder; her sons, Ethan and Zachary; her mother Kathy Christians (Eldon); her father-in-law Roger Niederwerder (Marilu); her brothers, Jason (Amber), Corey (Heather) and Jeffery Christians (Christina); her sisters-in-law, Jayme Brock (Clayton) and Carla Olson (Jon); and her nieces and nephews, Mathias, Magdelene Hafner, Kaylee, Megan Christians, Katherine, Connor Christians, Matthew, Adam, Emma, Lucy Mosby, Jesse Kapfenstein, Miranda and Dalton Mullen. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
