She was predeceased by: her parents, Hormidas E. Deschamps and Regina Deschamps (Brodeur); her former husband Bryce Gillies; her husband Thomas Jackson; her son Vance Gillies; her siblings, Paul, Eloi Deschamps and Violet Albertson; and her son-in-law Ed Nyberg.
She is survived by: her children, Boyce Gillies (Cindy) of Whitewood, SD, Regina Bowman (Jim) of Sundance, WY and Penny Nyberg of Chadron, NE; her daughter-in-law Kathy Gillies; and her grandchildren, Kelly Gillies, Jason (Carrie), Melissa Neville (Alan) of Aberdeen, SD, Walker Gillies of Brainerd, MN, Amy Mobley (Scott) of Gillette, Wendy Villalolos (Efrain) of Gillette, Bryce Bowman (Jennifer) of Gillette, Jimmy Bowman (Jennifer) of Gillette and Jennifer Doummi (Brahim) of Chadron, NE. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to restoration of the St. Martin's Chapel.
