He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry Whiteman of Lakeville, IN and Grace Whiteman of Mishawaka, IN; and his brothers, Dale Woods and Claude Whiteman. He is survived by: his brother Larry Whiteman (Juanita) of Indianapolis, IN; his children, Suzie Carlile (Dean) of South Bend, IN, John Whiteman (Stephanie Papoi) of South Bend, IN, Anita Wingfield of South Bend, IN, Paula Herendeen (Bob Buford) of Springville, IN and Mary Alicia Whiteman of Chicago, IL.; and his wife Brenda Spotted Tail (Dubray) of Lawrence, KS.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
