It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude Avice Wood Davis (Sturgis, South Dakota), who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wood and Elsie Wood; her husband Ivan; and her children, Daniel, Mary Sue (Gordon) and Billye Jo.
She is survived by: her brother Donald; her daughters, Nancy, LouAnn Stelter (David), Gayle (Tom) and Kristine Davis (Bob Bosworth); and her children-in-law, Kathy and Guy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the continued support of her family homestead established in 1883 near Dumont, SD. Donations may be sent in care of Kinkade Funeral Home, 1235 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785.
