Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Geraldine Barry of Sturgis, South Dakota, born in Cottage Grove, Oregon, who passed away at the age of 85, on February 12, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlette Weisz and Ernest Weisz; her brother Jerry Weisz; her husband Dale Barry; and her nephew Adam Weisz.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mona Dugger (Derwin) of Sun Lakes, AZ, Ron Weisz (Bonnie) of Sturgis, SD and Larry Weisz (Cheryl) of Rapid City, SD; her children, Steven Barry (Mary Kay) of Sturgis, SD and Barb Hardman of Sturgis, SD; her grandchildren, Lindsey, Stephanie, Megan, Ashley, Dustin, Amanda, Trinity, Joshua and Gypsy; and her close friend Sharon McNeale. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel (1235 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bear Butte Cemetery (201 Sherman St, Sturgis, SD 57785).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Northern Hills.
