It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaylon Lee Kelly of Sturgis, South Dakota, born in Gordon, Nebraska, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Kelly (Gloria) and Shirley Kelly (Rising); his brothers, Bill, Bud and Perry Kelly; his nephews, Chancey Gamet, James Kelly and Mark Kelly; and his niece Lacey Gamet.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith; his daughters, Holly Lockman (Dustin) of Rapid City, SD and Heather Stengel (Jeremy) of Lincoln, NE; the mother of his children Joyce Kelly of Gering, NE; his grandchildren, Breyden Heil (Brynn Johnson), Tristen Lockman, Tenley Lockman, Ace Johnson, Charleigh Stengel, Paxten Stengel and Casten Stengel; and his siblings, Scott Kelly (Robyn) of Omaha, NE, Sherry Gamet (Joe) of Colorado Springs, CO and Brenda Kelly of Cleveland, OK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
