He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Bastian (Overland) and Merle Bastian; and his grandparents, Ruth, Freeman Overland, Adam and Elizabeth Bastian.

He is survived by: his former wife Gwen Cordie; his daughter Erica; his sister Sheila Hostetter (Jim) of Red Owl, SD; his nieces and nephews, Tucker Hostetter (Sue Littleton) and Troy Hostetter (Ann Marie); his great-nephews, Tate, Tanner, Tyce and Kashton; his great-niece Trinity of Belle Fourche, SD; his daughters, Erin Wilde and Carly Jeffers (Bob); and his pet Buster. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
