He is survived by: his wife Eleanora; his children, Melvin Miller (Kerri Ann) and Lynelle Chapman (Danny); his grandchildren, Adam (Keri), Conrad (Jaci), Judson (Kelley), Zachary (Amy), McKenzie Miller, Danilee Chapman Pudwill (Shawn) and Caleb Chapman (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Adeline, Elijah, Piper, Kennedy Miller, Sawyer, Coy Chapman and Beckem Pudwill.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials have been established to Grace Lutheran Church, Sturgis Public Library, and Sturgis School Athletics.
