He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Brost and Christy Brost; his wife Carolyn Joyce Sherlock; his son Wayne; and his daughter-in-law Sherie.
He is survived by: his sons, Will (DeeAnn), Mark and David; and his grandchildren, Jonna (Matt), Taylor, Angela, Mary, Berta and Jeremia. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Black Hills Funeral Home (1440 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785).
