She was predeceased by: her daughter Sheryl Murray; and her brothers, Alan and Levern. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Murray (Armine) of Dickinson, ND, Jack Murray of Casper, WY, Jill Netterberg (Bill) of Sturgis, SD, Joseph Murray of Phoenix, AZ and Neil Murray of Sturgis, SD; her sisters, Viola Yirka and Darleen Huddleston; her sister-in-law Carol Swenson; her brothers, Roger Swenson (Barbara) and John Swenson (Barbara); and her grandchildren, Julia Hermann (Jamie), Steven Netterberg (Missy) and Jodie Handran (Ronald). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Sturgis Kiwanis Food Pantry.
