It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Ann Merrick of Sturgis, South Dakota, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Demotts and Ida Demotts (Bol); her sisters, Ruth and Marg; and her son Duane Leslie Myers.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Henry, Linda Gjesdal, Diane Hendricks (Joe), Alan Peterson and Sharon Nielsen (Kimm); and her daughter-in-law Colette Myers. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
