With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delane Robert Schieferstein Sr. (Sturgis, South Dakota), who passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Wellner Schieferstein and Carl J. Schieferstein; and his brother Arnold Schieferstein. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Richardson of Texas and Delane Junior; his daughter-in-law Susan; and his granddaughter Richardson of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials made be made in Delane's name to The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum 1600 S Wayne Street, Auburn, Indiana 46706 in lieu of flowers.
