He was predeceased by: his parents, Erick Ellingson and Kathrein Ellingson (Thorson); and his wife Jeanne Marguerite Axelson. He is survived by: his children, Kristi Hamilton (George) of Sturgis, SD, Juli Huber (Randy) of Tea, SD and Eric Ellingson (Patrice) of Huntertown, IN; his grandchildren, Rebekah Vagenius (Gunnar), Rachelle Breiler (Mathew), Rae Anne Hebnes (Steven), Kathrein Krohnke (Michael), Claire Ellingson, Sarah Kopecky (Bradley), Kathleen Ellingson, Elizabeth Ellingson and Erick John Ellingson; his great grandchildren, Laura Vagenius Mills (Chris), Tobe Rey Carias, Minna Vagenius, Theodor and Fritz Hebnes; and his great great grandchildren, Harrison and Lucian Mills.
