She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Dandridge and Virgil Lakson; her husband John Betts; her siblings, Sandy Sandidge and Virgil "Butch" Lakson; her son David Dower; and her stepdaughter Elizabeth Hudson.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Dower, Cherie McGrath (Brian) and Cindee Wisnoski (Darrell); and her stepchildren, Christy Betts and Matthew Budde (Petra). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
