It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Walthall (Sturgis, South Dakota), born in Streeter, North Dakota, who passed away on January 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Katie Schumaker (Rohrbach); her husband Oscar Walthall; her parent Chris Schumaker; and her siblings, Rudy Schumaker, Helen LeLaCheur, Irene Tammy and Delores Short.

She is survived by: her siblings, Edna Cox (Harvey) of Sturgis, SD, Joanne Pope of Dothan, AL, Hazel Brink of Newell, SD and Oliver Schumaker of Sturgis, SD; her children, Jerry Walthall of Cottageville, SC and Judy Sealock of Chatham, IL; and her grandchildren, Michael Walthall (Cody), Phillip Walthall (Hope), Holli Crawford (Michael) and Heleina Mixon (Cameron). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
