He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Denman and Catherine Denman (Owen); and his brother Morris "Denny" Denman. He is survived by: his children, David Jr. Denman (Shea), Wendy Brunes (Adam) and Nicholas Denman (Samantha); his grandchildren, Addison Denman, Lenna Brunes, Haven Brunes, Cooper Brunes, Sadie Brunes, LaChelle Waldrep (Josh), Jenna Denman and Kiley Denman; his great grandchild Aislyn Waldrep; his sister-in-law Sue Denman; his sibling Chris Denman (Jeff Johnson); and his caregiver Kathy Thorpe.

The family prefers memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
