It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Fields of Stockholm, South Dakota, born in Mobridge, South Dakota, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sr. Pekelder and Hannah Pekelder; her husband Robert Fields; her brother Harvey Pekelder; and her siblings-in-law, Warren Larson and Sharlyn Pekelder.
She is survived by: her children, Merlin Fields (Lori) of Milbank, SD and Barbara Matthes of Milbank, SD; her grandchildren, Michelle Schaufler (Craig) of Grand Meadow, MN, Jason Fields (Rebecca) of Oak Grove, MN, Angela Kari (Chase) of Buffalo, SD, Emily Bulian (Nick) of Yankton, SD, Jared Fields of Sioux Falls, SD, Nicole Brehmer (Christopher) of Milbank, SD, Tiffany Schneck (Dave) of Milbank, SD, Jaclyn Matthes of Sioux Falls, SD and Chelsea Penfield (Garrett) of Ipswich, SD.; and her siblings, Mandan, Robert Pekelder Jr. and Stockholm. She is also survived by Her 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren could always count on grandma.
