He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Punt and Gertrude Punt (Kroon); his siblings, Harriet Kuyper, Ernie Kuyper, Dwaine Punt, Gertrude Punt, Gerb Tolsma, Donna Hattendorf, Don Hattendorf, Gershom Punt and Wilmetta Punt; and his granddaughter Jennifer Oldenkamp.
He is survived by: his wife Philomena Punt of Sioux Falls; his children, Darwin Punt (Bonnie) of Oacoma, SD, LaWayne Punt (Rhonda), Lowell Punt (Denise), Leland Punt (Kathy), Marcia Punt-Garfield (Randy), Sharilyn Grove (Mark), Sioux Falls and Jillene Reimnitz (Mike); his siblings, Vernon Punt (Phyllis), Adames Punt (Sarah), Stickney Tolsma and Shirley Tolsma; and his siblings-in-law, Pete Sipma (Carol) and Naydene DeHaai (Sylvan). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
