She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mohnen and Anna Mohnen (Schroeder); her husbands, William Koch (Gene) and Warren Vinz; her son Douglas Koch; her siblings, John, Philip (Rosanne), Jim (Millie), Leo (Donna), Gerold, David, Edward, Richard, Betty Kettner (Merlyn) and Jeanette Priebe (Bob); and her brother-in-law Alan Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Koch of Plankinton, Dori Maas (Larry) of Alamogordo, NM, Lynn Buck (Mike) of Scotland, SD, Janet Ham (George) of Hartford, Lisa Greene (Carl) of Plankinton, Polly Olsen (Larry) of Plankinton, Mary Palo (Gary) of Hot Springs, SD and Marjorie Peed (Larry) of Page, NE; her siblings, Sharon Beckman (Bob), Dolores Waters, Theresa Ishmael and Paul Mohnen (Nancy); her daughter-in-law Sharon Koch (Mike Hepper); and her sister-in-law Rosalie Mohnen. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service St. John's Catholic Church (308 E 3rd St, Plankinton, SD 57368). A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (308 E 3rd St, Plankinton, SD 57368).
