He is survived by: his children, Sharon Artz (Ken) of Stickney, Marilyn Bloemendaal (Curt) of Luverne, MN and Roger Safar of Stickney; and his grandchildren, Rhonda Punt, Lisa Anderson, Stacey Niewenhuis, Kirk Bloemendaal, Cory Bloemendaal, Kristine Van Gorp, Melynda Jauert, Traci Munneke and Troy Safar.
