Robert J. Tjeerdsma Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Tjeerdsma of Springfield, South Dakota, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tjeerdsma and Agnes Tjeerdsma (Schotanus); his wife Anita; his son Mark Allen; his brothers, Dale Tjeerdsma and Harold Tjeerdsma; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Coulson, John L. Plasma and Urwin Eringa.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sylvia Coulson of Yankton, SD and Frances Palsma of Springfield, SD; and his sister-in-law Arlis Tjeerdsma of Yankton, SD. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Emmanuel Reformed Church (1112 College St, Springfield, SD 57062).
