He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bayard and Elizabeth "Bessie" Halsey (Kellogg); his wife Sarah "Sally" Hofer; his son-in-law Jan Nagel; and his siblings, Lloyd (Joyce Halsey), Rusty (Robert DeRoos), Joyce Barnes and Tuffy Halsey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Ferdig of Yankton, Janice Bailey of Huntsville, AL and Nancy Nagel of Trumbull, CT; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn Barnes, Wilma Halsey, Marilyn Halsey and Dorothy Preheim. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and many great- and great-great grandchildren.
