She was predeceased by: her parents, Boldewyn and Anthonetta Odens (Risseeuw); her husband Robert Jelsma; her great grandchild Lily Kriz; her siblings, Phillip (Eva), Isaac (Evelyn), Alvin Odens, Winifred (Bernard Kastein, Sr.) and Marjorie (Harold Ludens); and her sister-in-law Sandy Odens.
She is survived by: her friend Marj Tjeerdsma; her children, Norman (Mel) of Springfield, Angie (Jim Martin) of Springfield, Donna (Tony Tennant) of Springfield, Russell (Beth) of Springfield, Darrell of Springfield, Cal (Sherry) of Springfield, Mary (Nick Vlasman) of Sioux Falls and Nina (Richard Reiff) of Avon; her brother Gary Odens of Avon; and her sister-in-law Alice Odens of Chamberlain. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
