He was predeceased by: his parents, Vere Burnham and Gladys Burnham (Hall); his grandson Kyle Zulk; his siblings, Byron (Verene), Dean (JeanAnn), Jean (Marilyn) and Phyllis Hostetler (Milan); his parents-in-law, Clarence and Irene Yost; and his brother-in-law Don Yost.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Yost of Spencer, SD; his daughters, Vicky Huls (Mark) of Salem, SD and Kathy Zulk of Howard, SD; his grandchildren, Lee Mentele (Katie), Jill Dold (Kurt Olson), Brandi Mentele (Nate Anderson), Mark F. Huls (Allison Thielsen), Jay Huls (Mikayla) and Kurt Zulk; his stepgrandchildren, Betsy and Matt Huls (Laci); his great grandchildren, Logan, Jacob, Sam, Hanna and Kira; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sonora, Jorja, Connor and Preston; his brothers, Bill Burnham (Clione) and Garry Burnham (Barb); and his sister-in-law Cherie Schroeder (Bryant). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kinzley Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Salem, SD 57058).
