Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Violet Wenck of Spearfish, South Dakota, born in McIntosh, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 93, on December 10, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lovitt and Sarah Lovitt (Hines); her husband Leonard C. Wenck; and her siblings, Faye Brown, Addie Wiedemann, Fred, Clyde and Willie Lovitt.

She is survived by: her family, Max David Wenck and Suzanne Sara Wenck; her daughter-in-law Linda; her grandchild Andi; her brother Duane Lovitt of Apache Junction, AZ; her children, Max Wenck (Linda Basse) of East Troy, WI and Suzanne Wenck of East Troy, WI; her sisters-in-law, Doris Alberts of Britton, SD and Darlys Kruse of Mitchell, SD; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Austin (Elizabeth Sarbacker) and Andrea. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to benefit Hope Lutheran Church.
