With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Eugene Secrest of Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Eugene Secrest to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Secrest and Minnie Secrest; his sister Florence; his brother-in-law William (Billy Swesey); his sister Punky; his brother-in-law Bob Barden; and his sister Effie Carney.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hudson; his children, Marian Alderman (Wayne), Patty Weatherford of Gillette, WY, Gene Secrest Spearfish (Kim) and Roger Secrest (Sheri) of Black Hawk, SD; his brother-in-law Mike Carney; and his friend Alvina Meirose. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel (1235 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
