It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Gugel of Spearfish, South Dakota, born in McLaughlin, South Dakota, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Gugel and Leola Gugel (Wecker); and her siblings, Iva, Joan, Glenn, Don and Jim.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Ann Clark and Dorothy Gugel; and her friends, A. J. Johnson, Karen Hahn, Steve Aalbu, Sherry Ewing, Mimi Swisher, Lennis Larson and Duane Tordoff. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-and great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to benefit the Spearfish High School Fine Arts Hall of Fame.
