It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Hartley Montgomery of Spearfish, South Dakota, born in Hardin, Montana, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Monty" Montgomery and Aileen Montgomery (Haselhuhn); and his brothers, Lyn Ross and Kent Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Sue (Nielsen); his sons, Mason Montgomery (Chrissy), Brekyn and Camden of Belle Fourche, SD; and his stepsons, Dusty Magelky (Kendra), Espn, Calder, Stone of Rapid City, SD, Shane Magelky (Lindsay), Ayrison, Reegan, Fallon, Theron and Cambrie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
