Sandra Kay Dean Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Dean of Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Allen Mudder and Lois Mudder (Keiser); her husband Dennis C. Dean; and her children, Beth Louise, Brian Charles, Boyd Allen and Benjamin Gary.

She was on the original board that began the Western South Dakota Alzheimer's Association (a support group for families and caregivers of Alzheimer's patients). Sandra pioneered the first Alzheimer's Care Wing in a long-term care facility.
