We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2023, at the age of 85, Rita Reuer (Spearfish, South Dakota), born in Selby, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Lawless; her grandmother Clara Coffey; her husband Calvin Reuer; her mother Muriel Himrich; her stepfather Robert Himrich; her son Todd; and her brother Patrick Omland.
She is survived by: her children, Georgia McCool of Houston, TX, Dean Reuer of Spearfish, SD and Tamara Reuer of Aladdin, WY; her daughter-in-law Kelley Reuer of Mandan, ND; her grandchildren, Danielle Slotwinski (Luke), Tyson Reuer (Sarah), Levi Froke, Philip Reuer (Kristen), Landon Froke (Sarah) and Kristi Gabel (Eddie); her great grandchildren, Carter Froke, Natalie Slotwinski, Kadence, Selah and Ezra Reuer; and her brother Jay Omland (Jackie).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations may be made towards a memorial bench to be placed along Spearfish Creek.
