He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wermers and Loretta Wermers. He is survived by: his daughters, Marva Wermers and Rhonda Sulentic (David); and his grandchildren, Logan Sulentic (Rachel) and Kaitlin Sulentic.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel (450 N 7th St, Spearfish, SD 57783). A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
