With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joshua Josiah Running of Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 25. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joshua Josiah departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joshua Josiah. Though Joshua Josiah may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Peter John Running; his grandparents, Raymond, Helen Running and Ralph Miller; and his uncles, Ken Cermak and Daid Miller.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Running (Miller); his sister Eva Running; and his nephew Roman Running.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gentle Eagle Campground (13194 Alkali Rd, Sturgis, SD 57785). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
