Joseph Whalen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2021, at the age of 95, Joseph Whalen of Spearfish, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Whalen and Mathilda Whalen (Youngman); his former wife Bertha Maliske; and his siblings, Frances, Jim and Jack (John).
He is survived by: his brother Grocery; his wife Spearfish; his brother Raymond Whalen; and his children, Mary Hochhalter (Connie), Diane (Olson), Karin Wilson (Kevin), Robert Whalen (Rene) and Warren Whalen (Tami). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joseph's honor to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, 450 Venard Road, South Abington Township, PA 18411.
