With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry L Atkinson of Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Atkinson and Anna Atkinson (Rounds); his siblings, Frank, Charles and Mary Baker; and his son Brian Atkinson.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Schumacher of Spearfish; his daughters, Laurie Root, Pamela Gray (David) of Prescott Valley, AZ and Jan Kaus (Gary); and his siblings, Peg Turner (Jim) of Rapid City, Jim Atkinson (Vickie) of Rapid City and Pat Aker of Greeley, CO. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
