She was predeceased by: her son Gerald Heckel; her parents, Jacob Mehlhaff and Margaretha Mehlhaff (Margaret); her former husband Morris Heckel; her husband Bob Rogers; her son Rob Rogers Jr.; and her grandson Brock Heckel.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Heckel (Alicia) of Gillette, WY, Jan Hargens (Gary) of Spearfish, SD, Karen Rogers of Deadwood, SD, Renee Bridenstine (Dan) of Lead, SD and Matt Rogers of Rapid City, SD; and her grandchildren, Josh Bridenstine (Shanna) of Lead, SD and Megan Deskins (Josh) of Casper, WY. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
