Guy Malcolm Virkula Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guy Malcolm Virkula of Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on November 25, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Guy Malcolm Virkula to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Virkula and Florence Virkula (Tripp); and his sisters, Ethel and Camilla. He is survived by: his wife Kay Buckmaster; his children, Kimberly Davis (Rodney) and Garth Virkula (Theresa); and his grandchildren, Cable Davis (Sara), Casey Davis (Kelsie), Brian Davis (Sarah), Ashley Telkamp (Andrew) and Whitney Brost (Reid). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Black Hills Funeral Home (1440 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Deadwood VFW (10 Pine St, Deadwood, SD 57732).
