It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Nicholas of Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Ruby and Frankie Ruby (Wenner); and her husband Cecil. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Haux of Deadwood and Charles Nicholas (Sallie) of Spearfish; and her grandchildren, Carrie Jeffrey (Troy) of Vail, AZ, Corrie (Michelle), Cherie Norris (Terry) of Martinsville, IN, Verla Little (Tavis) of Spearfish and Charles V Nicholas of Spearfish. She is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was a 4-H leader, taught first aid, was a member of Daughters of the Nile, Crow Peak Extension Club, RSVP, and Quilters Club.
