He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Ketterling and Amelia Ketterling (Kolb); his siblings, Margaret and Walter Kruesman; and his nephew Charles Summers.

He is survived by: his niece Charlene Crawford of Missoula, MT; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lee Crawford, Joseph Crawford (Jolynn) and Margaret Crawford; and also, Maleah, Jaxon and Cooper.
