It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Thie of Spearfish, South Dakota, born in Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Leroy Robinson and Wilma Robinson; her birth parents, Phillip Pospisil and Miriam Banowetz; and her brothers, James Fox and Robert Mefferd (Bob).
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Vyona Hetzendorfer and Daryl Thie (Penny); and her grandchildren, Morgan Thie, Eryn Hartzog (Blane), Eric Hetzendorfer and Kevin Hetzendorfer (Courtney). She is also survived by three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
