It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Vrem of Spearfish, South Dakota, born in McVille, North Dakota, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Halvor Lofthus and Ida Gutterud Lofthus; her husband Kenneth Vrem; her son David; and her siblings, Irene and George.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Simonyak (Karl); her grandsons, Joel Simonyak, Erik Simonyak (Katie), Cody Vrem (Chauncey Mae) and Bradley Vrem; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Vrem; and her great grandchildren, Burke, Vera, Charles, William and Emmalynn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
