It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Haataja of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry and Pauline; her husband Esaja; and her children, Steven and Rachel David.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Taylor (Ronald) and Emily McAllister (Eric); her grandchildren, Nicole Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Cassandra Trager (Daniel), Benjamin McAllister (Hannah) and Christopher David; and her great grandchildren, Ari and Mia Trager.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (846 N 7th St, Spearfish, SD 57783). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the Rose Hill Cemetery (255 Ash St, Spearfish, SD 57783).
