It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Childress of Spearfish, South Dakota, born in Rock Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Fuzzy" and Gertrude Feikema (Van Malsen); and her daughter Connie Sue Childress. She is survived by: her former husband Wayne Childress; her children, Doug Childress (Joley) of Benson, AZ, Cathy Childress of Spearfish, SD and Curtis Childress of Valley Springs, SD; her granddaughter Kayla Farrell (Connor) of Omaha, NE; and her stepgrandson Chris Gibbins (Kendra) of Sioux Falls, SD.
