It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Venekamp (Spearfish, South Dakota), born in Marion, South Dakota, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel Heintz and Ethel Heintz (Irwin); her husband Herman Venekamp; her children, Kathy Davis (Jeff) of Rapid City, SD, Kurt Venekamp (Teresa) of Fort Collins, CO and Kenna Venekamp (Sarah) of Fort Collins, CO; and her sisters-in-law, Esther, Doris and Rosemary. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

“We are thinking of Bev and Herm today. We could not attend the funeral, but wanted to send our condolences. Bev and Herm were such a warm and friendly couple. They were instrumental in organizing and hosting our neighborhood gatherings. It was always fun to get together with them. We were sad to see them move, but knew it was best to be closer to family. May they rest in peace. Wayne & Linda Lueders”
