He was predeceased by: his father Marlyn Bender; his grandparents, Robert, Delphine Lawrence, Jacob and Minnie Bender; and his nephew Tyler.
He is survived by: his mother Clarice Bender (Lawrence); his children, Bridger and Brooke; his siblings, Boyce (Karin), Doyle, Le'Ann, Dana (Miah), Shayne (Jody), Bryan (Karlys) and Muffa Keller (Casey); and his aunts, Janet Keckler, Almeda Lawrence and Faye Kraft. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (518 2nd Ave W, Mobridge, SD 57601). A prayer was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
