Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barbara Ann leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Strong and Edna Joens; and her husband Stanley Howe. She is survived by: her children, Jeaneanne Buterbaugh, Patrick Howe, Andrew Howe, Christopher Howe, Matthew Howe and Steven Howe; and her sister Joyce Bruce. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the United Church of Christ (920 N Main St, Spearfish, SD 57783).
A memorial has been established to the UCC Women's Fellowship.
